AI search readiness checklist
Before changing pages blindly, check whether AI systems can identify the business, understand the offer, find proof, and explain why a customer should choose it. This checklist is written for local businesses that need clear fixes, not abstract GEO theory.
Clarify the business entity before rewriting pages.
Create answerable service, location, pricing, and FAQ content.
Measure mentions, recommendations, citations, competitors, and missing questions separately.
AI search tools need more than a brand name. They need consistent clues that connect the business name, location, category, services, and proof across the site.
Many local websites describe the business but do not answer the questions an AI model needs to compare options. The goal is not longer copy. The goal is clearer evidence.
A business can rank in normal search and still be weak in AI answers if the model cannot find reliable proof. Diagnose the gap before redesigning pages.
AI visibility is not one ranking number. It is a set of signals that move at different speeds after content and trust improvements.

Use a scan to see which prompts, sources, and competitors matter for your actual business before deciding what to rewrite.
